I want to buy some seat covers for my wife’s Terrain so Ozzy can ride with us and not tear up the leather. Any suggestions?

Searching for seat covers for my truck I found out Carhart makes custom fit seat covers for many trucks and SUVs, I ordered
a set for my truck, haven’t
gotten them yet though, I bought them on brand recognition so that may be a bad thing.

Duluth Trading has seat covers that are tough and easily installed/removed. They are not custom, but they do make dog friendly covers. I have a couple of the bucket seat covers that I use in my nice car if I have been doing anything that might mark up the leather.

I’ll take a look, I’ve owned Carharts stuff in the past and always liked it . I’m curious to see what you think of yours when you get them.
Then again, I looked at WeatherTech seat covers first for the same reason, brand recognition. I love their floor mats. But the seat cover reviews have not been nearly as good. And the biggest gripe comes from dog owners who say that they tend to bunch up and then the dog is on the seat. Which defeats the point in the first place.

I will check them out. I’ve never owned any stuff from Duluth but their commercials crack me up and I’ve wanted to give them a try. Maybe I can order a set of those flex firehose pants along with seat covers.
I’m torn on custom fit covers. I want something easy to install/remove, so that would shy me away from custom fit. Also they get pricey . But with a lot of the generic ones I’ve looked at people gripe that they aren’t very secure and their dogs get under them, or bunch them up, or what not and end up on the seats anyways.

I can tell you right now that the flex firehose carpenter pants are great. I like their clothes but sometimes they run really big - I am usually an XL tall but with Duluth I wear a large tall.
The covers I have are the earlier version with less straps to secure them. That said, they stay on pretty well. The material is nice too. Heavy but not at all stiff.

I’m looking at them and I think I’m sold. I actually like the “Mudroom” as it looks like it offers a lot of flexibility and I may end up going that route. It also looks like it would work in either of our cars and shouldn’t be too difficult/time consuming to install or remove.
